Don’t Let Insomnia Disrupt Your Life

memory contour pillows

Insomnia is no laughing matter, especially when you’ve got a big day coming up the following morning. Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve suffered from that affliction and spent countless nights tossing and turning fitfully in an effort to get comfortable. Then I decided to get proactive in my approach to getting better sleep. In fact, I took a two-pronged tactic to address the problem.

In order to stop my mind from racing as soon as my head hit the pillow, I tried diffusing some aromatherapy oils in the bedroom. I’ve found the lavender scent to be particularly soothing. Once the mental aspect was taken care of, I just needed to maximize my physical comfort. That’s when I bought memory contour pillows online. It fits snugly to the form of my body, providing just enough support and comfort to send me peacefully into a slumberous state.

sore-neck-back-shoulders.jpgDo you want a simple, yet effective way to end health problems?

Is your neck sore in the morning?  How about your back or shoulders?  Do you know that a change in pillows may be all that is required!  By doing that one simple thing you could also eliminate fatigue.

A pillow that leaves your neck sagging is going to cause poor alignment of your spine.  A memory contour pillow can work whether you sleep on your side, back or stomach.

The same holds true for your shoulders and back.  Keeping your spine correctly aligned allows for a natural positioning of your head in correlation to your spine.  If everything is aligned, you won’t have any body parts upset at you in the morning!

Waking up tired can be caused by not being comfortable during your sleep.  Is your head sinking to just the right comfort area or are you moving that pillow around all night long to find that perfect spot?

To find your perfect night’s rest, start looking at a memory contour pillow.  A pillow that keeps you perfectly aligned all night long!

Snore-No-More For A Better Night’s Sleep

snore-no-more-pillow.pngWhy is it that our ordinary pillow seems to be either too soft or too hard, too high or too low?  Why do we seem to have tension headaches, muscle spasms, stiff necks, poor circulation or shoulder pain?  Well, these ordinary pillows are filled with feathers or have fiber filled cores which do not provide the healthy support necessary.  They are unable to reduce obstacles in the airway caused by poor sleeping posture whether we are lying on our side, back or stomach.  Our heads and necks are placed in an unnatural position which contribute to airway obstruction and/or cause undue stress pressure and tension on our vessels, nerves, neck muscles and ligaments.

The Snore-No-More is designed to help reduce airway obstruction and improve sleeping posture.  At last, a pillow designed by a doctor to improve sleeping posture to provide a luxurious comfort for a better night’s sleep!

If someone were to ask you how important is sleeping in your life, what would you say?  Really think about it.  How much do you rely on sleeping for every function of you life?  The level that sleep has on your life is staggering.  And this is not just because of any level of rest, but because of the psychological benefits of shutting down and being at peace with the world, letting go of the troubles that affect you during the day.  Therapeutic pillows go a long way to make your sleep optimal for everyday happiness.

We all do it…drive to work, sleep in bed, sit at a desk, and the list goes on.  While all these activites occur daily, many of us do not realize the damage we may be doing to our backs by not using proper posture.  The result…backaches, neck and limb pain.  Think about this, a person spends a third of their life sleeping!  An affordable means to eliminate back pain is to purchase a contour pillow or bed wedge.

What is Sleep Apnea?

Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder characterized by pauses in breathing during sleep. Each episode lasts long enough so that one or more breaths are missed, and occurs repeatedly throughout sleep. The standard definition of any apneic event includes a minimum 10 second interval between breaths, with either a neurological arousal a blood oxygen desaturation of 3-4% or greater, or both arousal and desaturation. Sleep apnea is diagnosed with an overnight sleep test called a polysomnogram.

The individual with sleep apnea is rarely aware of having difficulty breathing, even upon awakening. Sleep apnea is recognized as a problem by others witnessing the individual during episodes or is suspected because of its effects on the body. Symptoms may be present for years, even decades without identification, during which time the sufferer may become conditioned to the daytime sleepiness and fatigue associated with significant levels of sleep disturbance. Sleep apnea can be tempered with a comfortable contour pillow.

Pack your bags ….it’s vacation time!

With the approaching of summer, our thoughts turn to our holiday plans.  We make lists for all we need to remember to take along but how many of us remember our contour pillows?  Don’t laugh. You cuddle your pillow close to your face every night, probably for six, eight, or more hours. It knows the shape of your head and just how you like to lie.A recent Carpenter Co. Sleep Better™ Survey revealed that approximately 41% of Americans travel with their pillow - 50% women, 31% men. It makes you feel more at home in that strange bed in that strange room. Lock the door, pull the drapes to shut out unwanted light, and snuggle down in bed with your head buried in your very own pillow.

Having your pillow along has other benefits. On a long road trip or plane ride, your pillow makes an ideal place to lean your head for a short nap. If you’re the driver, pull over at a rest stop and, again, you have your pillow to catch a few winks on. The same is possible if you have a long lay-over in an airport.

It just makes sense. It’s like taking a little bit of home with you.

Throw Away the Lumpy Pillow!

Author: sleepeasy
May 14, 2008

Health professionals readily agree that a contour pillow is the best for our bodies at night.  The traditional pillow composed of down or feathers will flatten or become lumpy while sleeping on it, thus not keeping the spine aligned.  The best way to keep the neck and head supported - buy a Snore-No-More Contour Pillow!
