With the approach of our fall and winter seasons, we will all be spending more time indoors. Interestingly enough the EPA ranks indoor air as one of the top 5 environmental health risks!
It is important to dust and vacuum frequently, clean the air ducts and be observant to signs of mold and moisture. Here are some added tips to fight off those allergies:
- Anti-allergen sprays used on indoor fabrics
- Vacuuming with a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter
- Wash sheets and blankets weekly in 130 degree water
- HEPA filters on furnaces
- Consider bedding such as a pillow manufactured with 100% hypo-allergenic premium pillow foam
