Developing Allergies Late in Life

anti allergen pillow

When I was growing up, I scoffed in the face of allergies. In fact, I questioned whether these supposedly pesky and sometimes debilitating conditions existed at all. I could frolic in meadows of ragweed for hours at a time without suffering adverse effects, and snuggling with pets presented no problem. Allergies are funny, however, in that they can develop and manifest themselves at any time.

Later in life, I had to give away my pet dog Charlie because his dander was forcing my breathing passages to clamp up tighter than a vice. Just when I thought I had found the solution to my woes, I developed an allergy to my favorite down pillow. Whether it was the fluff inside or the dust mites that had taken up residence I’ll never know. In any case, I found an anti allergen pillow at an affordable price online and have been sleeping soundly ever since.
